Ingredients
Dough 1:
- 2 C flour
- 1/2 C water
- 1/2 C vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
Dough 2:
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/2 C shortening/lard
- 1/4 C butter
Mung Paste
- 1/4 butter
- 1 can condense milk
- mung beans

Mung Paste
- Boil with 2 cups of water and add 1 can of condense milk, 1 cup sugar, and 1/4 butter
Dough 1, mix all ingredients.Knead lightly form like a ball,set aside.Dough 2, mix all ingredients by hand. Using rolling pin, flatten dough 1,then sprinkle dough 2 fold the dough side by side then gently flatten with rolling pin in rectangular shape.Then fold in to two and flatten with rolling pin again.Then roll the dough like a log and put in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Cut dough in 1/4" discs flatten each disc to make a 2 inch diameter and scoop 1 tablespoon filling and wrap and seal the dough around it.
- Press the dough ball to flatten, sealed side down, at about 1 1/2 inch diameter and 1/4 inch thick.
- Lay the pieces on a baking pan and brush with eggwash.
