==Ingredients==
*Oil, for deep frying
*12 large prawns, deheaded, peeled, tail left on, & de-veined

==For the batter==
*15g plain flour
*1 egg
*½ tsp. salt 
*1 tbs. sesame seeds   

==For the dipping sauce==
*3 tbs. light soy sauce
*½ tsp. sugar
*5-6 coriander leaves, chopped 
==Procedure==
#In a bowl, mix the flour & salt.
#Break the egg into the mixture & mix thoroughtly. 
#Add 225ml water & sesame seeds gradually, whisking constantly.
# You should have thick, creamy batter.

#Heat oil until light haze appears. 
#Dip each prawn into the batter, ensuring it is well coated, and drop into the hot oil. 
#Deep fry until golden brown. 
#Remove from the oil, drain & place on a serving dish.

*To make the dipping sauce, mix the soy sauce with sugar & chopped coriander leaves in a small bowl.
* Serve with the the prawns
