Baked Porkchop with white wine recipe

Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, diced
- 3/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 4 pork chops, loin, about 1 inch thick
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Directions
- Combine diced bacon, wine, and green onions; let stand for 20 minutes.
- Drain and reserve the wine.
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper then dredge in flour.
- Heat butter in a large skillet.
- Brown the pork chops over medium heat for about 7 minutes on each side.
- Add the bacon and green onions.
- Cook for about 4 minutes.
- Add the reserved wine and cream; cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, or until chops are tender.
- Remove the pork chops to a warm serving plate.
- Simmer cream sauce for 3 minutes longer; add mustard and parsley to the sauce and heat through.
