Curry in a Hurry Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp plus 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 wings, cut in half at joints, wing tips removed and discarded

How to make it

  1. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, curry powder, oil, cinnamon, garlic, and salt.
  2. Place the wings in a resealable plastic bag.
  3. Pour in the yogurt mixture and shake to cover the wings. Refrigerate for 2 hours or as long as overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 204°C.
  5. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
  6. Remove the wings from the marinade, letting the marinade drip off.
  7. Place the wings on the baking sheet. Discard the marinade.
  8. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Makes 24 pieces.
