Hawaiian Style chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds (about 1.3 kg) skinless chicken thigh
  • 1c soy sauce
  • 1c water
  • 1c sugar
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 thin slice of ginger

Directions

  1. In a large bowl,mix all the ingredients except the chicken.
  2. Add the chicken and marinade for up to 3 days or at least 24 hrs., if you can't wait,boil the chicken in the sauce right after you make it.
  3. Grill the chicken on hot heat and then stick it on the pot on the grill.
  4. Add a little fresh teriyaki sauce to the pot and it will steam the grilled chicken so that the chicken is tender and juicy.
