- banana ketchup (or use tomato catsup) - 1/2 cup
- chili sauce (bottled) - 1/8 cup
- calamansi juice (or lemon juice) - 1/4 cup (calamansi, the Filipino lime is in Asian markets)
- brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Sprite or 7-Up soda - 1 (8 oz.) can
- fresh garlic - 1 teaspoon, finely minced
- sesame oil - 1/8 teaspoon
- sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- freshly ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
