Soft Puto reipe

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 eggs (separate the whites & yolks)
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Toppings

  • Cheese

Procedure

  1. Beat the egg whites with vinegar until the bubbles come out
  2. Gradually add the sugar, beat them until becomes thick (medium peak). Set aside
  3. In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients and add gradually all wet ingredients
  4. Carefully fold both mixture stated in #2 and #3. then put them in the puto mold
  5. Boil the water in the steaming pan, turn the heat to low for 1 minute.
  6. Put the puto moold and over them with towel to avoid dropping the water on the puto.
  7. Steam for 10-12 minutes.
