All packed and ready to go, with the average weight under 7kg. This is our first time using packing cubes, and it makes locating things in your bag very much easier. I only wish I’d used them earlier. Each of us has a 2 cubes for clothes, medicines divided to distribute weight, a few electrical accessories and a laptop.
Along with our main bags we’re carrying purses/manbag which we’ll use for daily use.
We have two Macpac Voyagers (35l) and and Macpac Contrail (35l), all of which are perfectly sized for carry-on. The Voyagers are great with useful pockets and dividers, but not all that great for packing anything flat such as laptop or shirts. The Contrail could definitely use a divider and some additional pockets – especially on the outside, but it converts to a briefcase well, and would be much better for business use.
